(C pas une critique en vrai j'aime beaucoup le Roc Gyms aussi, ça faisait juste longtemps que j'y avais pas mis les piedsPuis c'est pas plus mal de changer de salle, le setting est un peu plus old school à Roc Gyms ça me fait travailler des moves dont j'ai moins l'habitudeGenre les fucking départs assis en bloc, je déteste ça mais faut bien que je pratique un peu.......)

I am sure y’all know this by now, but Charlie « tiny face » Kirk was assassinated yesterday during an event at a university.He got shot while spouting hateful disinformation about trans people, linking them to mass shootings. The irony is of course lost to pro-gun apologists.

Republicans are all out accusing the radical left of being violent, while a Democrat politician was assassinated a few weeks ago as part of a hit list by a far right fundamentalist. While the right has been cheering on a fucking genocide for 2 years now. Listening to Trump accusing the left of doing exactly what the right has been doing for years is pretty chilling.

Of course political violence exists all across the whole spectrum, but the right has been getting more and more violent in the past decades, covertly or openly calling to killing what they perceive as an existential threat (trans people, muslims, black people…).

As much as I hated Kirk, this event brings me no joy at all. It is a symbol of how even more violent this fucked up excuse of a country has become, and I really fear the repression against his opponents that Trump is going to enact in the upcoming weeks.

Though my eyes are pretty dry, and I have as much empathy for him in light of his death as he had for Palestinian children.To quote the man himself: « I can’t stand the world empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made up new term, and it does a lot of damage. »Well, you won’t have mine, Charlie. (Btw I just saw that while this happened, another school shooting occurred in Colorado. Kirk helped nurture this culture of death in America.)

ALSO ALSODo yourself a favour. Do not go and seek out the uncensored videos of Kirk’s assassination. He was shot in the carotid artery, which means a lot of blood. The video also shows his face clearly. You do not want to see this kind of shit, trust me. It is absolutely chilling and I regret seeing it.
