       @protonprivacy This is probably one of the worst disasters that can happen to EU.1. Chat scanning won't catch any criminals, they will just change the way they communicate.2. A lot of false positives will be generated which will be a burden on police and potentially a huge problem for the falsely accused.3. Authoritarian regimes WILL abuse the technology to clamp down on dissent.

       @kravietz @elpolacodesplegado At least Russian church has some standards. Orthodox Church of Serbia put a small town car dealer on an icon, just because he paid. They included his whole family, together with this ex wife!

       @kravietz He has a lot of in common with Hitler, this is just one thing. Neither one of them had the economy that was sustainable in the long run and they both resorted to using wars to cover this up. It's a shame that few people see this.

       @gmcgath @eff On the surface of it, you're right. But, in this particular case, the inadequate healthcare system of US kills a great number of people and the greedy corporations are the main culprit.I still can't say that I justify that murder, but I'm just an outside observer. I'm sure many of people who commented had personal experience with that insane system.

       @stux @tantramar That's not quite true. If you have a farm, for instance, and you frequently need to transport a few cows in a trailer, you need a heavy and powerful vehicle. Judging by the looks of American streets, there are lots of farmers in the cities.
