@simon The latest trend in #Javascript frameworks is the metaframework, aka begin rendering the page on the server as a simple #html page and then add all the #SPA enhancements client-side, so to have the best of both worlds. The downside tho is needing to use #nodeJs as the same code is used bot client and server sideMy favourite in this space is https://kit.svelte.dev/

@bryanbrake @kkarhan That's because people *in general* have great difficulties reasoning about threat models, especially if in the middle of doing something, and attackers are known to use it to their advantage.And no tech literacy is *not* the answer

@bryanbrake @kkarhan I am of the opinion that a physical notebook you write password on is better than a KeePassXC account that is not used.Still modern browsers have an integrated password manager that is quite easy to explain and use.

@JackTheCat @aral yeah for screen reader you either have to go with X11 or (at least on KDE) enable the option to allow X11 apps to be a keylogger

@Chiquidrakula @aralNeither Mac nor windows have screen readers installed by default, so no OS is accessible by the blind out of the box. They all require *some* configuration by some sighted person beforehand.If the configuration to enable the screen reader required the editing of arcane config files then I would agree with you, but it still as easy as installing orca and toggling a checkbox in the setting.Reasonable for disabling a security feature

@cbleslie @admin Samueldr was banned because he organized a mob on r/nixOS to pressure the mods into lifting his 6 week ban, 1 week after his ban.This is not acceptable behavoir anywhere, even from a long standing contributor.In fact he drove many other contributors before his perma ban.
