       Guess that decided it for me. Failing basic security is a big red flag for me. And after seeing their content policy, I'll stick with Mastodon/Baraag.

       And I also saw that during beta, they didn't even know what the CDPR is until one of their testers pointed out to them. Not sure now if the people running pillowfort are plain incompetent, or just don't know what they're doing.

       @PowerOfSin Apparently a Tumblr replacement that also allows nsfw. Though they don't give a shit about you if you're a "problematic" artist or post "problematic" content. It's a really shitty Tumblr clone with its shitty (and inconsistent) content rules, constant downtime, and now a two day shutdown, because whoever is behind the scenes making the site flunked basic web security.

       @PowerOfSin Those days are long gone, since the only replacement to pop up won't allow for certain content. Plus they had 4-5 years of a closed alpha to implement basic features and security, and failed even at that. If they went public without knowing about the GDPR, they would have been fined out the ass.

       Not the right place for this kind of thing, but this is super infuriating if true. This was an absolutely despicable thing to do to someone. I don't advocate for cancel culture at all, but if the rest of the dev team got cancelled as hard as they threw skunk under the bus, I wouldn't bat an eye.

       @SnugSmug These people barely operate on logic. All they do is lash out and attack people that do things against their beliefs. Even when said things don't harm anyone. And their argument about it "normalizing" it is so full of shit, and is their current "trump card" to bash any argument against it.
