@thomas ich würd‘s jetzt nicht direkt aufsetzen weil ich Gentoo auf dem Server nutze. Ich betreibe aber auch meinen eigenen Mailserver von daher bilde ich mir ein, wenigstens ein bisschen von der Materie zu verstehen ....

@wolf480pl well after a while it doesn’t hurt anymore 😝 What I like about it, though is the consistency across modules: if you learned that it’s path in one module it‘s most probably path in another.

@yarmo it would be interesting to know which part of Docker requires so much entropy and if Docker could be configured to use /dev/urandom instead.

@yarmo no I meant that Docker (the service) could be configured to use /dev/urandomThinking a bit more about it now it could also be the container that exhausts the host’s random pool.

@yarmo ok now it makes sense. It would be up to the software inside the container to use /dev/urandom which is nothing you can change easily.

@heiseonline was den ganzen Datenschutz Gegnern wohl nicht klar ist: ohne Datenschutz wird es wohl Widerstände gegen Digitalisierung an sich geben. Ziel war aber doch die Förderung der Digitalisierung, oder?

@matrix Just skimmed over the concept paper. As much as I like the adoption of open standards: the TI messenger will be a walled garden that uses the matrix protocol - and a lot of extensions to it. Providers will have to implement custom clients, too.
