       @Azure i mean, also anti-tick? i haven't heard a single cicada over here in kzoo yet and my neighborhood is prime. i didn't realize until i saw a map the other day that we're at the extreme northern edge of their range.

       @Azure the other part is that they have an earlier instar that tends to feed on squirrels and the like. the thinking goes that if they can get the squirrels to crawl through the permethrin (see: tick tubes) they can interrupt the life cycle before they even become human-biting adults.
