@tyil I do prefer a lively airfield with lots of traffic from small planes, tourists and hobby pilots over a stupid swamp. We're talking about a patch of land right at the doorstep of a city, not an untouched wilderness.

After 30 years, I guess it's finally time for me to accept Windows 95 into the ranks of "retro" operating systems. I just added a new 86Box VM... Thanks to a new upload by "lemonhead" and "Digitoxin", I could finally complete my personal floppy disk collection of the 1987 game "Larry Leisure Suit" for the IBM-PC, Version 1.0.This game was copy protected, so it's always neat to have all kinds of disk image formats available. The latest build of 86Box emulator is capable of reproducing the actual sound of a floppy disk drive. While this is a function still in beta, it adds a completely new dimension of depth to the retro experience. Das DOS-Spiel "Monkey Island 2" erschien im Jahre 1995 für 9,90DM als Bestseller Games Heft Nr. 7 im deutschen Zeitschriftenhandel und wurde mit diesem Taschengeld-kompatiblen Preis auch sehr schnell extrem populär. Aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage veröffentlichte der Verlag gegen Ende 1996 sogar eine Zweitauflage des Hefts mit einer inhaltlich aktualisierten, wenn auch optisch etwas einfacher gehaltenen CD-ROM. Diese Zweitpressung ist heute ziemlich selten und schwer zu finden.Nach langer Suche bin ich vor ein paar Tagen endlich über eBay fündig geworden und so konnte ich euch nun beide CDs ins Internet Archive hochladen. To this day, the original "Maniac Mansion" remains to be one of the coolest games in my entire DOS collection! Not the fancy, "enhanced" version from 1989, everyone knows, but the classic release from early 1988. It looked very much like the C64 version, but for IBM-PC. This was sold on a single, 360K 5.25inch floppy disk. @cryptgoat @Turrican Ja, so ganz langsam vergeht mir auch der Spaß an EverDrives. Ich hatte das ED 64 X7 vor mittlerweile einem Monat für 168$ gekauft. Bisher habe ich immer noch keine gültige Sendungsnummer und auch keinen konkreten Termin.
