       I've started using #Figma autolayout in the past couple of months & it's life-changing. So I am delighted to discover that I think I can reproduce the workflows I now need in @penpot  with their flexbox layout & component features. A huge step forward & a great day for #OpenSource #webdesign

       Also #Sketch app have just emailed to claim they can now open Figma files. Portability is dope. I love it. I'm sure #Adobe will remain cool and not cause any problems *nervous laughter* https://www.sketch.com/blog/new-in-sketch-annotations-document-libraries-templates-and-more/

       All I want as a web developer is to link to an address / lat±lng and for the users 🌎 map service of choice (#OpenStreetMap, #Apple maps, #GoogleMaps, whatever) to open without being dependant upon Google.It's 2023 and even darling of the "free and open web", #Firefox doesn't support geo:// #indieweb

       @zeldman Exercise care with `Accessibility > Motion > Reduce Motion` - many of us web developers use this to disabled *all* animation for #a11y reasons and you will have a much less 'fun' time on the web.So frustrating that it seems as if a return to the sensible-cornered, non-glossy visual origins are so tantalisingly close. I'm too cowardly to upgrade incase they remove it.
