@codemonkeymike i did this very recently with my Asus C223N chromebook - it's the apollo lake chipset/cpu so it's a bit wonky(no sound and picky about usb) but it works surprisingly well besides that. I'd strongly say do it.

@icedquinn you'd think by now computers could do teamwork *without* needing to be specially coded to support that stuff. The only thing that I do that uses *all* my cores properly is my video encoder

Currently recording an old Amstrad CPC covertape to a real cassette, just so I can then run a tape to disc utility to transfer it to a real disc, all for shits and giggles and I couldn't be happier with the absurdity of it all #AmstradCPC
