@adam you probably won't see this because you hate NAS.Regarding the 'Houthi' helicopter landing on the ship in the Red Sea.Horizon Lock is a feature of Insta360 cameras that allows for stabilization you are suspicious of, similar to what could only be achieved with a gimbal.You can see an example of one of these cams mounted on the backs of the Houthis as they enter the bridge of the ship.

A solar charger that can reach 5-7v @ 500ma via USB out can recharge them to work as remote meshtastic relays.I'd stick with the 915MHz band. 433MHz is really crowded with noise from other common devices.It's slightly cheaper to buy them off of Ali.https://a.aliexpress.com/_mr8RRfaSince phones are ubiquitous, I use that to interface instead of that dedicated keypad you posted. Seems it'd be fragile.
