@checkervest so Merriam-Webster publishes the official Scrabble dictionary, and MW still spells it "rib cage," and so due to a quirk of oversight or Pedantry, this hyper-plausible word is technically a phony, and can be challenged off the board, and this is why no one likes playing Scrabble against tournament players except for other tournament players lmao
