@p Yeah, people want live streaming and most hate fediverse. I will definitely do it but no one else seems to care. all the based right wingers went right back to twitter first chance they got and use rumble or odyssey but only if youtube boots them. No one really cares about interoperability except purists. Average content creator wants to make money above all else, average internet user wants to be entertained and get through the day without deleting. No one really cares.

@p Sample set bias.A lot of the people have tried fedi but just can’t stomach the loli weirdos and tranny porn and freaks that inevitably show up in the feeds. Gab only has a couple thousand real people, always did and dont much care about any of them. I just want to be a professional social, and actually make alt to big tech. New twitter CEO should do the marketing for me. They can’t be based if they went back there.I think they can be but hard for me to respect. They just think it is essential to reach the masses no matter what and that is where the masses are. They aren’t entirely wrong but short sighted. However, maybe this election cycle really is last chance and if we lose it all goes away, fedi and all. Very few people in fedi that matter so in their minds it isn’t worth using. I will try to build something great and connect with fedi.

@JonnyFever @p hard to mute loli. a lot of comes from good instances. FSE has its fair share of weirdness. poa. st, is mostly weirdos, etc etc. fedi is in reality very small.

@p @JonnyFever the people who left because of twitter are leftists and most of them already left when found out what fediverse is about, especially, with the new leftist CEO at twitter. The twitter management, jack dorsey pushing nostr and or bluesky etc are all attempts to keep real competitors building and unfunded. Twitter will be banning again during next election cycle. You’re preaching to the choir. I’m big fan of decentralization and will be connecting to the fediverse but just can’t afford to do everything.
