@openess I have friends that like drinking from large mason jars mostly because the graduated amounts are labeled on the jar. Drinking from plastic is undesirable to most these days, so the labeled mason jar is all the rage.

@jordan31 @openess Yep! It’s definitely a southern thing (I’m southern), but it’s pretty widespread at this point. Also a lot of the restaurants down here use mason jars for beverages. We used to go to this one restaurant when I was a kid that used mason jars, and that was in the early 80s. So it’s been a long time trend.

@openess So it seems that one has a Microsoft account, and then that is used to access Xbox, and now Minecraft, and presumably whatever else comes up in the future. Understandably, I totally get that they’d like to centralize everything. But it’s just obnoxious when I’ve had a Mojang account for so long. Also sad that Mojang appears to be disappearing as an identity, bittersweet.
