i feel like trying to do the whole "render/paint it first and then cut it out" would piss me off too much so I'm going to try separating out everything to begin with. yes every single strand block has been lined separately on its own layer, i'm a masochistalso first time using the symmetry tool and it wasn't the most horrible thing ever??

@edeny Has happened to the best of us, don't worry. One time I obliterated a whole SSD permanently by forgetting to switch out all of the cables when I was troubleshooting issues with my PSU. Sorry to hear about the doujin, always an opportunity to restructure/expand/change with a forced V2 but it always feels like shit losing work like that. Hope it's not hitting too hard :(

Okay I went back to the drawing (hehe) board for the model... simpler forms & clearer lines. Also custom meshing everything from the start & now everything is so much easier to rig.
