@ParadeGrotesque I've switched back to Firefox for all of my web browsing - I even use it on my iPhone even though I assume it's just a wrapper for webkit on there.I was using Opera for a bit, but seem to recall the owner of the company did something that made me quite upset.

So pretty ignorant #linux question here, but: What's the *real* difference between distros? I already use Debian for my home server, but I don't interact with it as a desktop. Am I really missing out on anything if I just install Debian and apt-get install window managers and desktop environments until I find one I like? The few times I've used Ubuntu recently it's been a weird confusing mess of kinda-docks and multiple installers...

Anybody know anything about moving Windows 7 with old Adobe applications to a new HDD? Long story short - gonna try to help somebody who’s still perfectly productive with his old pre-cs service subscription software get his computer back up to speed with ssd and maxing out RAM.
