@joel My advice is to start with the crashed helicopter scenario, that usually leaves you in an area with few enemies (except the people who were with you on the helicopter) and you start with military gear, and can often get more ammo (from the people who were with you on the helicopter)

@CarlCravens my team's standup (previously hybrid, now fully remote) uses the round-robin and it's reasonably effective. It's not super punchy but people generally pay attention at least until their turn comes, and everyone has to say something even if it's just perfunctory "I'm good, no blockers, working on the same thing as yesterday."

@thelinuxcastAgree, the federated timeline is a cesspool.There are curated blocklists that do a good job removing the garbage, but choosing the right instance goes a long way. This is also a good argument for keeping the federated timeline out of the official mobile app.

I learned yesterday that when the LCD display of an #android phone is dead, but touch input still works, if you can manage to unlock it and activate the TalkBack feature, you can still use the phone. In this case to activate developer mode, turn on USB debugging, & then use #scrcpy to mirror the display to my laptop.It took a couple of hours of fumbling around but now I have full access to the phone on my laptop, amazing.Lesson: Accessibility helps everyone.2nd lesson: back up your phone
