@john You aren't crazy. #maplotlib is incredibly complicated and it feels like 75% of that complication is due to trying to be simple. "We'll just make two completely different interfaces but not make that clear to anyone and when people answer questions online you'll get a mix! Perfect!"Most simpler alternatives run matplotlib under the hood and, despite what most people say, this just increases complexity in the long run.

@wordrascal Opposite for me. If I'm taking notes, I can't concentrate on the speaker. Nor if I'm not interested in what the speaker is talking about.If I were doing some well-separated task (like coloring or whatever) that would probably help me concentrate better.

I just realized another effect the #adhd meds are having.No boom/bust cycle with hobbies/interests/projects. For the last couple weeks I've been completely personal project-free. Which now that I type that is also pretty remarkable.Then in the course of a few days several presented themselves. I've been able to keep them at arm's reach and pull one in as I want instead of either feeling guilty I'm neglecting one OR overwhelmed by too many at once.*I'm* in charge of my attention!
