@grammargirl Was introduced to "ramble" when I was at a UK university and they had a rambler's club (part of nat'l group). Still my favorite; always makes me think of untended paths, less traveled ways

@grammargirl I've just been doing this with a couple years of photos. Describing the files' metadata can be pretty easy using things like Digikam (and you can batch together groups of photos). But to edit the filenames, I've had to edit each one manually to get from HP_1096.jpg to "yellow_flower.jpg". It's not awful if you are keyboard comfortable but it is slow.

Found a citation error to statutory authority in the Newsom v. Trump decision, which thrilled my research and writing students as we were reading the posse comitatus law (it was minor—10 USC instead of 18 USC—but a bit mind blowing for a 1L). Heard from a journal editor they'll be publishing my article in the spring. I think I should go home before my luck runs out
