While I have no great love for Google, their uncomfortable high resolution satellite maps enabled me to find my daughter’s stolen scooter.I was able to identify all the private car parks, hidden nooks, and ungated alleys with half a mile of my house.I visited them in order, and after several hours, eventually found it down this one.Past two loads of fly-tipping, and hidden under some sofa cushions.Now safely back home :)I marched the daughter to Wallasey motorcycles and made her buy a disclock. I mean, I actually bought it, but she will be paying me back.

OK. I've decided to mothball thecrow.uk and this Fediverse account.I haven't updated the site in more than six months, and the kind of articles I write there are broadly similar to the articles I get paid to write elsewhere.
