I love the concept that @aral talks about - about having your own "place" on the web and adding pieces of required functionality to it.As opposed to separate services and domains per function - i.e. a mastodon; a peertube; a pixelfed. (even though those things are still awesome)I'm going to try and develop a similar concept in....don't laugh....PHP.Mainly because I want to start building things for people and right now that is my only competent language. 💚

Elementary OS 6 installed. Is nice. Getting some jittery video playback on peertube - not sure if it's the file type it's playing though.(plays smooth on mobile)

Okay its Firefox browser (installed via flatpak) that seems to not like to play peertube videos nicely.the "ungoogled chromium" from flatpak plays videos fine it seems. 🙂
