@ConorMahood there's a trick in programming called "rubber-ducking" but it's an older method than software really.You know when you start explaining a problem to someone and halfway through you go "never mind I have it now". You have to logically structure a problem, and step outside it, in order to communicate it verbally. This could be a bug in software or anything.You can keep a toy, like a rubber duck, on your desk and try and explain problems to that. Works just as well.

@Gargron to put on the product design hat: Don't give users the feature they want from another product.Gather their requirements, assess the feasibility, and see what you can do without compromising your own product to the extent that you will lose users.Serve user needs and don't turn the product into a horse designed by a committee.

Remember folks, adding alt text to an image is a good and helpful thing to do, but nobody wants it to make you anxious about sharing things when you don't have the energy.Also, you can edit your posts, including the alt text, whenever you want, so you can do it later too.There's also tags like #ALT4me where you can signal that you'd like a little help - people can add descriptive text in a reply.Perfect is the enemy of good.Actually added text to one of my own after writing this. 🙈
