       @grammargirl I did, and the court did, including the defendant, who was told to wear his mask over his nose or get a nice set of shackles. If they don’t enforce the rules, there are about a zillion ways to get out of jury duty.

       @grammargirl This was in Santa Fe, last year. If you see something that concerns you, send a question (usually written) to the judge, by way of the bailiff.

       @grammargirl Generally you can. And most judges want to keep the jury happy-ish (within reason).
