Hi, everyone, I'm migrating from mastodon.technology, which is shutting down by the end of the year.Moving will take a bit of time, since there is caching involved in Mastodon's aliases and right now the move functionality doesn't work for me; I'll try later in 24 hours.

#Introduction Hello everyone, I'm an IT guy interested in #ComputerScience, #science in general, #gaming and #reading.I'm currently using Pop_OS, but I've experimented with Arch, Debian and Fedora.Even though I'm currently learning Node.js and React, I'm also interested in emerging programming paradigms (Promises, Rust's features, etc).As for reading, I like fantasy, sci-fi and non-fiction. I use both paperbacks and e-books. I also listen to podcasts (mainly Cortex and Hello Internet).

@joel Even though maze generation algorithm might be the most appropriate thing to follow (@HeNeArXn already mentioned them), maybe even tweaking a little bit the Game of Life rule might generate interconnected 1s in a matrix of 0s.

I like functional languages, even if the learning curve for them is VERY steep, especially when confronted with some specific arguments."A monad is just a monoid in the category of endofunctors" (cit.)https://spectrum.ieee.org/functional-programming
