       @stefano Couldn’t you just have done the rsync from the dir in .zfs/snapshot/ instead of needing to clone it first? That is what I normally do to recover files.

       @matthew @stratacast @subnetspider like the others mentioned in the thread they are open source decents/derivatives via OpenSolaris. Oracle Solaris 11.x is also a decent of OpenSolairs and while it isn’t open source it is very much still in development on SPARC and x86 and we just recently provided an updated free to use build https://blogs.oracle.com/solaris/post/announcing-a-new-oracle-solaris-environment-for-developers which also improves the AMD CPU support.
