       @That_One_Guy Some folks do a lot of editing, some do none.  I have a feeling most people are in between.Before I post a photo, I always do some editing: cleanup of specks, straightening the photo, and adjusting the level curves to increase contrast and raise or lower the overall brightness, if needed.  I try not to do anything that dramatically changes the colors or content, unless it's for a specific effect such as isolating for a single object in color (and then i call out what i'm doing).

       @That_One_Guy BTW - the cleaned up photo is much better - the improved contrast makes the details that you were trying to capture stand out.

       @gmsfotos Thanks - I understand how sundials work :)  I was trying to figure out how the shadow got that long against a vertical surface.  i'm guessing the gnomon is much longer than it appears (through foreshortening).
