       @conradhackett Many of the non-"mainstream" servers have been defederated for hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, violence.It is not hard to predict what this poll would say, since these are major planks in the platform of one of the parties.

       @TurdFerguson @conradhackett I would be interested to see any examples, if you can provide them. Not everyone has the same definitions of hate speech and the -isms and -phobias. FWIW, "free speech" is often claimed as a defense of expressions of such isms and phobias, but "free speech" only seeks to set forth that the federal government should not suppress or retaliate against speakers. It doesn't apply to social media or any private property or private property of any other sort.

       @ruud IMO, this policy may be cause to defederate from mastdoon.world. A policy not to proactively defederate from hate until it a report is made to the server admin, despite earlier warnings from the communuty, is not helping the community protect itself.Are there any medium to medium-large instances that suspend this server *and others* with this sort of policy? I'd be interested as potential next home. If we don't demand stronger moderation we will lose good people. TY :)#fediblock
