       @newscientist when i read articles like these, i think of william james, and gh mead, who also give descriptions of consciousness as being mostly  conceptual constructions. not surprising that the neuroscientists see these constructions as providing 'predictions' while the social scientist saw these as giving social 'evaluations', etc.
