@devinprater @lorabe Phosh is mainly developed by Purism, not by Mobian, Debian and especially not by Pine. The pinephone costs a fraction of the Librem 5, for the most part because they don't create the software for it. I paid 4 times as much hard earned money for an L5 as you, so that we can have that in the future.Funding as well as volunteering are needed there.

@scops @kuketzblog @mntmn Naja, PCs: Purism, System76, Tuxedo-Computers.Smartphones: PinePhone, Purism Librem 5, /e/ Foundation, ...Hauptproblem sehe ich darin, dass das nachhaltigste Konzept (L5, ich warte noch) zu wenig Unterstützung erfährt. /e/ ist vermutlich am praktikabelsten, bringt uns aber nicht langfristig vorwärts, wie auch das PinePhone nicht. Da wenig Leute bereit sind, in ein First-Gen Projekt mit ungewissem Ausgang zu investieren, kann Purism nur kleine Brötchen backen :/

That would be absolutely ok, and would protect beginners.The thing is, people that hang out in PP chats, download and install packages are not beginners.Flatpak can not protect you from not using flatpak.
