Two years ago I was wondering if I would ever be able to write a history of Capstone software - famous creators of TekWar and Witchhaven (and Zorro *ARGH*). One year later, look at that. In 2022 I actually managed to publish it over on Retro Gamer magazine.

Jokes aside, I'm doing this mostly because I believe bad games need to be shown the same respect as good ones. I think there's only so much that can be interesting in reading a thousand articles a year on the origins of Zelda, Mario or Crash Bandicoot. Give me making of TekWar, what went wrong in Rise of the Robots, what were they smoking in Virtuoso, why did someone think Jurassic Park on 3DO was a good idea.

I believe the solution to this Roman riddle to be:- first sign gives you a bike- the second deletes your bike- the third makes you fly off your bike (if you still have it though) like ascending to Heaven- the fourth makes you stand on your own two feet.Have fun in the new game "Roma is you"

I wonder why Data East was so fascinated with the adjective "crude", they not only converted Crude Buster to "Two Crude Dudes", but for the ending they decided "crude" needed to be its own higher principle.

Apparently, in 1984 Epyx released a C64 software designed to teach typing, as a tie-in with the 1980 movie 9 to 5.That is why the application features weird scenes such as the one where the boss runs after his secretary in an office building.What a very weird choice.
