       I've turned into a birthcontrol street preacher. Every time I walk Temple I tell young women to go stock up on plan B and don't take birth control for granted. At least I'm not mumbling to myself. I have daughters and granddaughters and it's DefConLevel One for The Handmaid’s Tale. White Christofascists will not win this.

       I got the blood of six signers of the Declaration of Independence and 2 of the Constitution in me plus all the others who died in wars since the revolution, the war against slavery, and the war against fascists. We will not become a western version of Iran. You will not throw out duly elected representatives for exercising free speech either because you're longing for Jim Crow days or suppress my GLBTQ family. We shall overcome.
