So what feels like trying a million different fixes to the touchpad-doesn't-respond-after-suspend issue for my new Lenovo X1 Titanium Yoga, I decided to enable hibernate on Pop!_OS.Easy to follow instructions:https://support.system76.com/articles/enable-hibernation/It's sub-optimal, but better than nothing. This is Linux, so I'm probably only days away from a fix 😂

Heading to the US for a work thing, then a family wedding, then driving to France for a family holiday.This is a Brexit ballache. Trivial but annoying cases in point: 1. I can't use 'GB' stickers on my car any more, they have to be 'UK'2. Everyone in the car has to have a reflective jacket available to them without getting out of the car3. There's new Crit'Air stickers depending on vehicle emissions that you have to apply for and apparently take 30+ days to arrive 🙄

I've been complaining recently that my otherwise awesome new laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga) has a problem with the touchpad not working when waking from suspend.I tried ChromeOS Flex on it just to see how that handled it and the touchpad Just Works on resume from suspend?Also, looks like Linux apps work on here, so I think I've found my new Pixelbook 🙌

@bhaugen Yeah, ThinkPads are usually a good bet for Linux. It's just that this particular one doesn't seem to play nicely in terms of that trackpad-after-suspend issue. (I tried Fedora, Debian-based distros, and Arch - as well as reading what felt like the entire internet!)

@fitheach @potato_lisper Your choice. I use Garmin Pay via my watch (which I always keep with me and charged). My credit card is in the back casing of my phone as a backup.
