@coldacid and the problem is what?. lol.. Im in TX and can only dream of.cold weather.. my ac struggles.to keep it at 70 inside during the summer.

@hund this is such a shame.. im a big manjaro fan.. love the distro. Finances and desire for power are the main destroyer of good partnerships.. So, i guess manjaro will go the way of the dodo if they cant get egos out of the way..

@meowski who decides what hateful speech is?.. all speech needs protection. This way the teuth is not falsly identified as "hate speech" If you need an example, look at the way google handled people who used the word covid in a video, or say the word "guns".. Offensive speech does not equal hate. ALL speech should be protected... period.

so, question.... what are the opinions about running a openvpn server in AWS? i can run one for free for 12 months in AWS.. Can we guaranty that AWS isn't.keeping logs?

@selea I haven't found any information.. but if AWS keeps logs, then it defeats the purpose, IMHO, of a VPN. And that makes it not worth using.

Apparently, my question wasn't phrased correctly and caused confusion. 1) Is AWS a good platform to use for a VPN server? I can run a free vpn server on it for 12 months.. Pros/ cons?2) What kind of logs would AWS keep on my traffic? (if any)3) What kind of data do they collect about the server instances running in their cloud.4) The same question could be asked.of Azure and other "clouds"To clarify, I am wanting to learn AWS/ Azure, as it could further my IT career.

i know this will garner a lot of hate, but that doesn't make it any less true.. After having switched to smart watches and tried both apple and android devices. (I currently rock the samsung galaxy watch.). I want to switch back to the Apple watch. It works so much better. But, my only hurdle is it requires an iphone, which I absolutely hate. The apple watch is so much better for my usage case that I have considered going to the dark side..I feel dirty and hypocritical just considering it.

Im running into an issue with ubiquiti.. I have set up a guest network and ssid. I set up a portal for the guest network. A guest can connect to the ssid, but no network connection.. I can't reach the web portal, and nothing I have done seems to work..Anyone out there know about how to fix this?
