@anders Have yet to look into that but what I can tell you right now is: My plan for BA is *not* to “just" implement working with windows, tabs and web pages, and then calling it a day. ;)

@andycarolan I set up mine as a 1-year experiment, back in July. (https://forum.actions.work/) It's not overly active (yet) but it's a surprisingly good way to keep in touch with my customers and beta testers, and it's a great place to post about new releases etc.So far, I'm very happy w/ how it’s going. I don't host myself but have the folks at https://www.communiteq.com/ maintain it for me.

@anders @andycarolan One is "free", the other isn’t. I'm talking about people who just want to get going.My other hunch is that many people grew up with messengers but not with message boards so it might also be a generational thing.

Cancelled #Spotify today, signed up for #Tidal.After the whole <gestures wildly> *everything* at Spotify lately, and their infamous shit deals for artists I figured it's time. We'll see how it goes.This here site (https://producerhive.com/music-marketing-tips/streaming-royalties-breakdown/) has current, telling, and hopefully accurate data about royalty rates. Eye-opening.

@toran Not better or worse than Spotify. Sound quality is lossless CD quality, apparently, but I don't use that. Price-wise, it's pretty much the same as Spotify.https://tidal.com/

In early 2001, we seriously pondered relocating from #Germany to the #USA because I had received a pretty great job offer in CO. It didn't pan out, and I was sad for a while.Then 9/11 happened, and I watched the US go off the rails. And that train wreck never stopped, they just kept adding wagons.I didn't know much but I knew that Bush's "Just buy more shit" was not the right answer to the people's question, "What can we do?".Watching empires fall is fucking weird
