       @badtuple I would probably have separate types for each "state" of the process and then functions that can use it only in a separate state would only take a specific type, if that makes sense ? You can either have a function on the type to transition between states or something external that transforms one into the other. Lemme know if you'd have any questions - happy to hop on a call or whatnot :)

       once again confronted with the reality of UK's internet access - my "broadband" is adsl over 80years old copper lines, junction box got wet, no internet. Needed to buy a travel router + a data sim card to get any network access, claiming "LTE speeds" - 10/10mbps ... ;)
