Gorgeous weather with more bloomy things showing up in the garden. I even have one tiny tomato on the vine! 3. A local friend travels with senior tours all the time & is in Arches NP (Utah) this week. She texted the photo below, taken from a sightseeing airplane ride - pretty cool.

@TonyStark Anyone who has worked for a food bank that participates with the Fed’s programs knows how close to the bone local clients live. It’s heartbreaking to provide so (comparatively) little & know that’s all they’ll get until next month. FFS, it’s FOOD, not luxuries, not entertainment! Clients have already qualified by stringent income limits. Fucking Republicans!

@Nonilex I was in grammar school from 1947-55. Every single student in our large (50+) classes had ALL communicable diseases — I even had pertussis for almost six months, which nearly killed me. The polio vaccine was a true miracle for the scourge it was for thousands. We have almost 80 years of successful history that proves the efficacy of vaccination.
