       Sunday night thinking about government accounts on Twitter & here (figuring out how to advise colleagues on the changes & also thinking a bit about the future of government online, which has some new elements since I joined _this_ fediverse) (I used to work for the US federal government, which I think of as "my time as a fed" so 🙃 )

       hm, I followed a bunch of journalists last night & now long threads & constant posts are overwhelming my feed (I think because every reply shows up if I follow them? & also because I'm following so many fewer people here that there aren't enough UX or civic tech or random posts to keep the proportion reasonable)can I make lists of people w/o following them? I really don't want to create a US-news-heavy feed although I do want to keep up
