We've seen how algorithms distort/create conversations, and our govt. is using private companies to listen to those and advise them on pandemic policy.

@64 We don't. But not only that, even if they verify who they're looking at, these are platforms that create narritives, draw in certain people, and feed them certain information. They distort conversations and create images.

Ooooh new #NZTwits exodus, I should give a re-intro, also remind everyone I'm here :partyparrot: I'm a Music student at UoW, finishing up my Bachelors in the next fortnight. I play flute, my bachelors is in performce, but I also compose, which I am doing pretty well at all things considered.I'm also an anarchist, a gender-queer bi dude, and I got ADHD and Autism, inthe combination that makes me a massive nerd about very specific thingsy but also lots of new thingn every 3 months or so

Where do people get their materials for #bookbinding? I'm in Aotearoa NZ and I cannot for the life of me find good paper for a journal-type book. Also looking for book-board.
