@clive Very interesting spin on the concept of a camera. My main caveat is what was the poem maker trained upon, but the concept besides of that is genius.

XScreenSaver may be used in Android-powered TVs and screens that stay on for hours. A bit of a niche use case, but a case it is

Depends on whether you rely on ad revenue for your content. If you don't, and you can manage to keep an audience strictly through libre platforms, go ahead!

The only reason why they can afford to try, is because importing electronics to Brazil is up to 50% more expensive than building them locally, because of taxes. I do have some interest on the Lite model, might work for light and retro gaming on a budget.

Most entertainment is produced in abusive environments, promotes positively evil people to become famous, and twists the legal system through in such a way that it enables surveillance and erodes ownership rights. But barely anyone is willing to boycott it.

And like clockwork, somebody already found dirt on #TimWalz all the way from '95. At least nobody was harmed though... AND Walz was willing to resign for the incident, more than what can be said elsewhere. time.com/7008431/tim-walz-dui-…

Especially considering that Lawnchair is open-source and thus mostly safe from this kind of ending.

@chiefgyk3d There's something very close to "Instagram but over ATProto" - PinkSea, which is a site that works as an online drawing board. pinksea.art/

Very good question! Because I was planning to hook it into an Arduino and a weight measurement tool, so I can track how overloaded is my backpack in real time

@rysiek When you say:But show us a centralized, end-to-end encrypted Signal alternative that is not backed by venture capital, blockchain, the Saudi royal family, or all three, and we'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge....I remember that XMPP is technically neither of the three - is the reason not to recommend it that end-to-end encryption is an extension for XMPP (OMEMO if I recall correctly), and doesn't come enforced by default by the protocol?
