Trying to track down some stupid type related error in some #Scheme code that a type checker would have caught.Honestly #MyPy might be a bigger reason for why I often reach for #Python instead of Scheme than library availability.Maybe I'd like #Racket with its gradual typing extensions, but it is significantly more resource hungry than Python.

It's the only networking model that really supports sneakernets and is truly delay tolerant.NDN has been presented at military communication conferences and as far as I know, the routing is ready, they are now trying to iron out the kinks of the security model and trust bootstrapping.

Has there ever been a #GhostInTheShell spinoff where the main storyline took place in the same universe but didn't focus on the Major and the Section 9 gang? 🤔I'd love to see how the homeless folks without cyberbrains we only get glimpses of experience a society where everyone who can afford it is in some sense a superhuman genius.Also would accept recommendation for #neoluddite #cyberpunk stories in general.

@grumpy Hm, I've read some of Blame, I wouldn't classify it as cyberpunk, and Abara seems similar. They are too far removed from most technological issues that are actually relevant to society. It's also very technobabble-y.To me they feel more like... cosmic action horror science-fantasy.What I appreciated about SAC is how grounded the politics and tech was, I'm looking for something like that, but sort of viewed from the bottom of the social ladder.
