@georgevaccaro And lest we forget the troubling tendency in this tweet to attribute all or most of society's woes to a single group of people - in this case federal reserve bankers. While there are powerful people influencing the economy and society, none of them are omnipotent and if you blame one of them for everything, it might have more to do with your - let's call it that - bias than with that group of people.

@georgevaccaro I'm not putting words in your mouth. I'm asking to understand, why you are more worried about the power of the fed than (for example) the power of the supreme court.Both are small powerful groups, appointed and not elected. And the later is even less accountable than the first.

They are experts in their field. And we might argue they make mistakes, but to argue that everything they do is wrong and can be replaced by a simple mathematical function I think is simplistic.

@mansr @rysiek could it be that the one week deadline was set by the King? And that if no leader is appointed by then, that there'll be a reelection. He had to do something to limit this chaos and avoid the possibility of having a prime minister who doesn't have the support of the commons.

And that's good. It means we shouldn't just be obsessed with #Mastodon as an alternative for #Twitter #Birdsite. The entir range of corporate social media from #Facebook, #Instagram, #Youtube has an alternative in the #Fediverse and just as controversies around #Twitter should drive people to the #Fediverse, so should controversies around all other corporate social media platforms

I think #PeerTube might have some serious additional potential. Most #Youtubers today use in-video ads to finance the production costs of videos. And this type of support should be equally possible on #PeerTube as on any platform, but it requires an audience that is worth advertising to.

@kkarhan @senficon What these algorithms are doing and what a human does when studying are not both "learning" - in the sense that they perform the same activity. So, rules for one do not apply to the other necessarily.

I can just make the observations, that:- AI Models are not learning as humans are. Thus rules for the one are not necessarily applicable to the other.- #Microsoft using #FOSS to sell it's product, while historically being a stansh opponent of it, is opportunistic and exploitative.
