@clive oh good lord. Idk why this album was part of my childhood, because it apparently came out before I was born, but I have a clear memory of singing along to "Jesse's Squirrel" with my brother on the air guitar in his pijamas. This recording is gonna haunt me for years; I can tell. 😆👻

Okay, I'm occasionally dipping into the senate coverage today, and it's worth it to see Cory Booker chew this scenery even while exhausted. Booker is now on hour 20 or something of this "non-filibuster." a) We just heard Senator Hirono from Hawaii say, "wtf comes to mind!" Priceless.b) Today I learned that Cory Booker has a "favorite federalist paper." What a lovely nerd. #TIL #USPol #USPolitics #CoryBooker

Today I learned about the term "tactical urbanism," which is kinda an umbrella term and kinda a more nebulous term for several things I was already more familiar with, including guerrilla gardening, depaving, de-fencing, and park(ing) day. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactical_urbanism#TIL

Today I learned about the existence of MIT's giant flywheel, which reportedly has a right of way easement across Cambridge in case it ever falls off track and rolls into the sea. There would be no stopping it.https://mitmuseum.mit.edu/collections/object/GCP-00034920Also, I learned what a flywheel is.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FlywheelWhat a world!#TIL #MIT
