@DJWalnut What kind of difference can any of us make? What is “political action”? Most “political action” doesn’t make any difference either.But we can try. If you do your best, by definition that’s the best you can do.Where do you live? There’s probably an IWW branch near you. Or other groups of folks trying their damnedest to make a difference. Not sure what would be a good fit for you, but something will work.

Long story short, my law firm negotiated my settlement up to $6,000 (far higher than it ever needed to be) and withheld their invoice and the amount of attorneys fees until after I signed the settlement.That's when they told me attorneys fees will be $5,000, so I will only get $1,000.But the whole $6k counts as income— and I'm going to get a tax bill of $2,080 and change, and I cannot afford the $1,080 leftover tax bill I'm going to get.I *KNOW* I can win if I take them to arbitration, I just need $175 to take them to arbitration. And I need it in the next week or two. And I don't have it.Please help me out, even if it's just $4 or $5!!

Just every $15 they’ll hit your credit card.I’ve used mine extensively to follow an FDCPA case I was plaintiff in, and I still haven’t hit the first $15.
