Having a heck of a time figuring out what I want to do next in my #career. Do I want to continue #software #engineering, some kind of a hybrid job that includes it, or strike out into something completely new? I'm feeling a bit stuck.

@Gina that's the part that i'm kind of stuck on. I know i was burned out in my last position. i'm wanting to work on something that actually makes a difference and not something that will never see the light of day. if i could turn back time 🎶 and start over i'd be a #disney imagineer working on park attractions. i mention that only because it may shine a light on things i find super interesting and exciting.

@konstantin @kev I find when a light-mode app first loads it's a bit jarring, but my eyes seem to adjust after a bit. I've been a dark-mode fanboi for a long time, but I think I'll try light-mode again for a day and see how it goes.

Do you use a tiling window manager in a production/professional environment?

@urusan I had a similar experience with #Manjaro. It worked fine until it didn't after maybe three updates. As for a suggestion, I have been very happy with #OpenSUSE #Tumbleweed. I know it's also a rolling release, but I've gone through many updates now with no issues. If you're wanting something more stable maybe OpenSUSE Leap, or #Debian.

Looks like my poll between #rust and #golang had a clear winner: Rust! I've heard Rust's learning curve is a tough one, but I do see the benefits of learning it. What I learn there will almost for sure help in the other languages I am familiar with already.

If you were wanting to learn #rust or #golang, which one would you learn first?
