@hund I am taking a look at https://www.pslatecustoms.com/. Someone told me about a set from taobao, much cheaper (but also not as fancy). Seriously considering the taobao ones and leave the fancier for later

I like the 1970's music very much. Progressive rock (also called art rock by the snobbish :)) is among my favorite genres. But even so, when I was suggested to listen to "the jewel of 1970's Japanese prog rock", I thought it a little too much. Then I listened. Guess what? It's exceptional! If you are feeling adventurous today, take a listen: https://merlinsnoserecords.bandcamp.com/album/benzaiten #music

@play0ad I love to play RTS with friends and family and played many hours of age of empires II before finding out about 0ad. The people behind the game impressed me tremendously. It has a very strong, active community. The game is seriously good and after a few months enjoying it, I wonder why they still call it alpha!

@play0ad One of the finest things about 0ad? Its source code is free software and its art is under creative commons, meaning that potential for expansion is almost unlimited, as long as a group of people want it. Developers, artists, history buffs and gamers all contribute. It's awe inspiring.

did anyone here do a more elaborate wireguard configuration in #guix, with parameters like PostUp and PostDown? Please share your config if you did. I'm new to #guix. Although #wireguard itself was super easy to setup, these fine grained things are not.

@joeligj12 Still early days but so far so good, I have much to learn and tinker. You should be aware of a learning curve and be ready to commit some time learning (if you got scheme fever that helps a bit). It's beautifully designed.

@technomancy I'm collecting authors to read more fiction. Can you recommend your favorites by Le Guin's? She was in my list forever.

I'm going through #fosdem 2026 videos and I need to point out the good work with the files themselves. We have the option of downloading .mp4 videos with older coded for old devices, but we have everything also encoded in modern av1 (using webm as container) which makes for very small files with good quality. I'm saving them directly to my jellyfin instance and watching one by one at my tv, popcorn in hand. Good job fosdem people!
