@itnewsbot C'mon -- putting that major story element right in the title? You couldn't go with "Guess who shows up in the new Quantumania trailer?" I avoid trailers and still get spoiled on 'em. I guess this wouldn't be so bad if I followed any of the applicable hashtags but for some reason you got this in #gaming despite it not having anything to do with games of any sort.

@tojosan @johnhood I always saw it as a highly distilled Monster Hunter; none of the story or tracking to get in the way of the epic boss fights and endless grind. The weapons are just as diverse and the boss encounters are both fun and demanding, just like MH. Unfortunately it's balanced around the f2p "grind or pay" idea unlike MH so I ended up quitting after hitting a hard grind wall early on. Tl;dr Great gameplay, little intrinsic motivation, typical f2p hurdles.

@tojosan @johnhood sometimes mindless is what you need. I put hundreds of hours into Marvel Heroes, a Marvel licensed Diablo clone, back when my kid was born. Turning my mind off and chasing big, flashy damage numbers was exactly what my sleep deprived mind needed. These days I doubt I'd get into a grind like that but at the time it was perfect for me.
