@ajroach42 My zombie plumeria is back again. 😀 It's 2, maybe 3 years old, & each winter when its leaves all drop, plus it takes months to grow them again, I think that will be the end of it. I had no idea what I was doing when I saw it in the store & liked it. The soil wasn't great, I got it special food & figured out how best to water it, but it's always struggled. This week leaves came back so there's hope again. Maybe someday it'll look like a tree instead of a pitiful stalky bush.

He'd got a good attitude.Overall, I love Beau Figuero, who appears in the trilogy, plus all the sequels. He's a good guy who can gut you with a look and put out some delicious snark. He also might be the best father figure in the series.

@futurebird My husband and I downsized a few years back and it felt so freeing. 😊 Now I don't have the space to buy everything that catches my eye, which is a good thing. I buy things I need or know I'll use for a good while.

@futurebird I quite Amazon back in November and, while most of replacing where I buy stuff has been more difficult than impossible, I was surprised that certain products are extremely challenging to find. For example, I was gifted a small hydroponics system a year ago & finding replacements for things like nutrients & growth medium has been maddening. Even going through ebay--those sellers ship stuff to me through Amazon. 🤬 Currently waiting for growth cones to arrive from China.

@futurebird I met my husband on an online dating site too. We exchanged emails soon after. He was working on a ship off the coast of Nigeria at that time & sent the most interesting emails. He also knew what a mandrill was. Knowing about types of primates was highly important to me, as a zookeeper who worked with them. A lot of the other guys I'd met online were hilariously clueless.

@Nonilex The health insurance is the main thing, I think. If these vaccines are no longer required or even recommended, insurance companies may stop covering them, so parents have to pay out of pocket. Which means less poor kids vaccinated.
