I would like to see someone build a social service from the #ActivityPub standard up. Not a Twitter, or Facebook, or G+ clone, but filling in those niches as needed.Like, select your interface like a theme or tab that focuses on picture upload, or microblogging, or WordPress blogging, or event management, or polls and Q&A.

My beef with the fediverse as it now stands is each service uses AP, but specializes in one form of content, so I still have to make accounts on different servers to really experience the whole fediverse.

Saw this about #ReCaptcha and the update on the page is priceless 🤣http://uncaptcha.cs.umd.edu/12/28/2018 After we informed #Google about #unCaptcha, they updated their audio challenges to issue phrases instead of digits. unCaptcha v2 now breaks these new challenges, with even higher accuracy (around 90%) than before.

I love the idea of the #fediverse, where there are all these different services that can all talk and share stuff on the same underlying framework.The HUGE issue I'm having is I still have to make accounts on almost a dozen servers to be able to share different kinds of content. #Pixelfed for images, #mastodon for short messages, #Plume for blogging, and now #prismo for reddit-esk news.Whatever happened to federated logins like #OpenID that let me use my main to sign into other sites? 🤔😓

@Corvusrobotica but having to check multiple accounts sucks me deeper into #FoMO and takes up more of my time. Plus it's harder to share something neat I find from one account to another. And by and large most users can trust their local admin to be less malicious and invasive then the massive social media companies.We're missing the ease of use factor for end users. Heck I work in IT as a career and maintaining multiple accounts often just sounds daunting and undesirable. 😞
