Today I harvested 25 lbs. (11.3 kg.) of tomatoes from our #organic #garden. That brings the season total to 110 lbs. (50 kg.) from about 100 sq. ft. (9.3 m^2) of dirt. The 1.5 lbs. (.7 kg.) of habaneros from our garden and 22 lbs. (10 kg.) of local peaches will be transformed into canned salsa today! #vegan #UrbanFarm

5 pm Main to Glenwood #Boise River greenbelt report: 83° F and sunny. I counted over 20 bikes and 8 good dogs. 2 cormorants in the usual spot. Noticed a guy on an acoustic bike closing on me, so I decided to be his rabbit and sped home. He didn’t catch me. I didn’t manage to set any PRs on Strava segments, but 15.6 mph moving average isn’t bad for an old guy on a 35 lb recumbent bike. @IdahoLark we have a 4-1/2 pounder. Dogs are not meant to be that small. He is always either frightened or cold. Poor guy.

@IdahoLark we inherited ours when Mrs. Clown’s youngest went off to college. Macon is now 16, blind from cataracts ($3-5k to fix), but otherwise in good heath and likely has at least 5 years left. The little guys do live a long time!
