@blackenedgreen lol (got my first glasses, hexagon, polarized glasses (yup) in grade 5, almost never wore them, or any others) - I too occasionally like to check on the land afar, or the stars at night - and night driving, definitely night-driving. Otherwise- it is just the way I like it. ( tho' my blurry photos make me annoyed 🤷‍♀️ )

@ConserveChange The advantage is to people who are confident they can figure it out, that is not everyone. Once you are in then you need to figure out how to subdue your ego. You need to find people and their content more interesting than your own. That takes a shift from bird site training. No more coasting on sanctioned thoughts (algorithm fuckery), now you are in charge. It is scary. I am on a very academic server and had to figure out "unlisted" to post freely & sacrifice #s - magic now.

@farah I used it once on my cat to clean a wound from a fight. It ended up, destroying the tissues that were trying to heal. This meant that the veterinarian needed to cut the wound larger to facilitate proper healing. I don’t use it now on an open wound.
