@hakui @Waerloga @sirflynot @Moon some of them I've convinced them of the weirdness of this situation by pointing out how radically different from standard medical procedure the entire response was. Others I convinced through pointing out the enormous amount of money going into this shot. Sad part is, I was too late for most of them.

@sneeden ds2 has shit pacing and jumpscare after jumpscare, cheap shocks. DS1 knew better how to pace things.as for mirror's edge, that game was written and conceived of by some underdog writer woman who actually had a good idea, but they scrapped the idea halfway through production and rewrote the story, basically just gutting it. I honestly wished it had a better ending, it just kinda, ends. There's no closure on anything, it just kinda stops and youth hugging your sister (awwwww), and the reboot just throws away every aspect of what made the original fun and interesting.

@slash @sneeden well, there were fetus-aliens in the original, and Idk if it's strictly a marketing thing, I think they went to the dev team and forced them to up the ante, make the game bigger, badder, darker, but they ruined it (a VERY common story in corporate art)
